Modernist Revival House
This project involved the exterior renovation of a house originally built in the late 1980s. While the underlying structure remained intact, the goal was to reimagine the home’s presence and bring clarity and intention back to its architectural forms.
The design focuses on a restrained palette of white surfaces and dark stone elements, using contrast to emphasize the geometry of the house. Curved and rectilinear volumes are highlighted rather than concealed, allowing the original massing to feel deliberate and contemporary.
Through material refinement, subtle detailing, and landscape integration, the renovation transforms an outdated exterior into a calm, modernist composition that feels both timeless and renewed.
