Between Water and Shadow

This conceptual onsen room explores bathing as a quiet ritual shaped by light, material, and atmosphere. Warm wood surfaces, patterned screens, and a deep soaking tub create a calm, inward-focused space where boundaries between interior and garden gently dissolve. Day and night conditions were carefully studied, allowing natural and artificial light to transform the room throughout time, reinforcing a sense of stillness, reflection, and connection to nature.
